Methodist Men Move to Third at NCAA Championships
Senior Nick Bova shot two over in round three

BRASELTON, GA– Through the first three rounds of the NCAA Championship Tournament, the Methodist men's golf team moved up two more spots to third place with a 900 (311-298-291) at the Chateau Elan Resort. St. John Fisher held on to the lead with an 893, but the Monarchs beat them by six in round three.

Junior Matt Bova is leading the Monarchs in a tie for 14th at 224 (77-75-72) while sophomore Josh Schrader shot 225 (76-77-72) to tie for 20th. Junior Jake Pleczkowski shot 226 (77-75-74) to tie for 22nd and junior Tom Cooper is tied for 32nd at 228 (82-71-75). Senior Nick Bova shaved another three strokes to tie for 56th at 233 (84-76-73).

The tournament concludes tomorrow with the Monarchs in pursuit of their 10th National Championship.
