May 16, 2008 BRASELTON, GA– The Methodist men's golf team finished in fourth place at the NCAA Championship Tournament with a final score of 1203 (311-298-291-303) at the Chateau Elan Resort. St. John's University (MN) took the team championship with an 1192. Junior Matt Bova finished in a tie for 10th place at 297 (77-75-72-73) while junior Tom Cooper shot +1 in the final round to finish in a tie for 15th at 300 (82-71-75-72). Junior Jake Pleczkowski shot 304 (76-76-74-78) to finish in a tie for 33rd and sophomore Josh Schrader shot 305 (76-77-72-80) to tie for 37th. Senior Nick Bova finished in a tie for 70th at 313 (84-76-73-80). |
