Monarchs Named to Nicklaus Watch List
Jack Nicklaus Award given to GCAA Player of the Year

NORMAN, Okla. — The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) has announced the watch lists for the 2008 Jack Nicklaus Award. The Nicklaus Award is presented to the Player of the Year in NCAA Divisions I, II and III, as well as the NAIA.

Fifteen student-athletes were selected from Division III to the watch list with three Monarchs earning recognition. Senior Nick Bova, junior Matt Bova and sophomore Josh Schrader represent Methodist. The three golfers have played in all five tournament wins this spring helping the team to a number one national ranking. The Monarchs will travel to Burlington next week to compete in the USA South Championships.
