Monarchs Finish Third at Oglethorpe Invitational
Senior Nick Bova finishes in a tie for ninth with a 145

GAINESVILLE, GA – The Monarchs finished in third place at Royal Lakes Country Club on Tuesday with a 582 (286-296). Guilford won the tournament with a 570 while Oglethorpe finished in second at 572.

Senior Nick Bova led the Monarchs with a ninth place finish at 145 (72-73). Junior Matt Bova shot an even par 71 in round two to finish at 146 (75-71) while junior Trey Howell shot 147 (72-75). Junior Jake Pleczkowski and sophomore Josh Speight both shot 148 (71-77) for the two round tournament.

The Monarchs concluded their fall season and will resume at the Old North State Invitational Feb. 18-19.
