Men's Golf Wins Oglethorpe Invitational
Sophomore Matt Bova finished four strokes off the individual winner to lead the Monarchs

GAINESVILLE, GA-  The men's golf team traveled to their final fall tournament held at the Royal Lakes Country Club to compete Monday and Tuesday.  After the completion of the two rounds, the Monarchs finished at the top of the 12-team field by eight strokes with a score of 585.   

Sophomore Matt Bova shot a 144 (71-73) to lead the Monarchs while sophomore Jake Pleczkowski shot a 147 (69-78).  Senior Nick Bova finished with a score of 148 (75-73) and junior John Duckworth shot a 149 (75-74).  Sophomore Trey Howell shot a 150 (75-75). 

The Monarchs will return to competition in February at the Mid-Pines Invitational.
