Monarchs Defeat Ferrum 2-1 to Finish Regular Season
Senior Chris MacDonald scores eighth career goal

FERRUM, VA-  The Methodist men's soccer team traveled to Ferrum on Sunday to finish their regular season.  The Monarchs won the game 2-1 to move to 13-4-1 overall and 3-2-1 in the USA South while Ferrum falls to 4-14 overall and 1-5 in the conference.

Junior Andy White started things off on a goal off of a direct kick for the eventual game-winner.  Senior Chris MacDonald sealed the deal with the second goal of the game with the assist credited to sophomore Sean Gregory.

The Monarchs will host Shenandoah for the first round of the USA South Conference Tournament on Tuesday at 2:30 pm.
