Men's Soccer Ranked 9th in the South Region
Team moves up one spot from last week

FAYETTEVILLE, NC-  The Methodist College men's soccer team has been ranked 9th in the South Region for Division III by NSCAA/adidas.  The team improves from their 10th place ranking last week.  They had not been ranked previously since 2004. 

Head coach Justin Terranova's team finished 2-0 this weekend at the Methodist Innkeeper Classic to improve to 3-1 for the season.  The Monarchs shut out Warren Wilson 6-0 and beat Southwestern 3-2.  They will open USA South Conference play at home on Wednesday at 4 pm against North Carolina Wesleyan.
