Three
Monarchs named
all-conference
Criscoe named player of the
year; Siegel rookie of the
year
FAYETTEVILLE, NC - The USA
South Athletic Conference
has announced its
All-Conference awards for
men's tennis. A total of 17
student-athletes have
been named to the USA South
All-Conference teams for
men's tennis. Methodist
College's Keith Crisco has
been named the Player of the
Year while
teammate, Matthew Siegel is
the Rookie of the Year.
Chris Fletcher was also
named to the first team.
Criscoe, a senior from
Southern Pines, N.C. helped
lead the Monarchs to an
15-5 overall record and a
5-1 record in the
Conference. He had a 4-0
conference record at No. 1
singles and a 3-1 record at
No. 1 doubles.
A sophomore from Fairfield,
Calif., Siegel helped the
Monarchs finish second
in the USA South with a 15-5
overall record and 5-1 in
the conference. Siegel
was 4-1 in conference play
and 3-2 in conference
doubles matches.
