Men's Tennis Coach Eddie Luck Resigns
Luck leaves after successful two seasons at the helm

FAYETTEVILLE, NC- 
Eddie Luck, men's tennis coach has announced his resignation effective January 1, 2007.  Luck joined the Methodist staff two years ago and led the Monarchs to the USA South Conference championship in 2005 and a runner-up finish in 2006.

Luck completed two seasons coaching the Monarchs to a 26-15 overall record and 10-1 in the conference.  Under his leadership, three players received All-Conference honors including two-time Player of the Year Keith Criscoe.  Prior to Methodist, Luck spent eight years at Ferris State in Michigan.

"We appreciate the good work Eddie Luck has done for our university and specifically our men's tennis program over the last few years. We wish him well in his future endeavors," Athletic Director Bob McEvoy said.

The University will begin a nationwide search to fill the coaching position for the upcoming season.
