Criscoe falls in first round of National Championship
Senior finishes at 16-6 on the season

 

FREDERICKSBURG, VA- Methodist Senior Keith Criscoe fell Saturday in the first round of the NCAA singles tennis championship hosted by the University of Mary Washington.  Criscoe was defeated 6-2, 6-1 by Dan Greenberg from Williams.  Criscoe finished his season with a 16-6 individual record.  Greenberg advances to the second round, improving to 13-6.

 

Criscoe, the two time USA South Player of the Year, wraps up his Monarch career with the loss at the national tournament.  He also went 17-2 in doubles this season with partner Chris Fletcher.

 

The tournament continues with the quarterfinals and semifinals on Sunday and concludes with the championship round on Monday.
