May 17, 2008 LEWISTON, Maine - Senior Chris Fletcher's tennis career came to an end on Saturday morning in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Singles Championships. As one of the top eight finishers in the NCAA Singles Competition, Fletcher received All-American honors. Fletcher finished with a 43-13 singles record during his four years at Methodist University. Fletcher won two matches on Friday to advance to the Quarterfinals. Michael Greenberg of Kenyon took the first set 6-2 and secured the match victory with a 6-4 win in the second set. Greenberg went on to knock off top seeded John Watts of Washington-St. Louis to advance to the singles championship on Sunday. For more information visit the Tournament Website.
