Monarchs Fall to Washington 6-3
Matthew Siegel and Mike Layton combine to win doubles 8-3

CHESTERTOWN, MD-  The Methodist men's team traveled to Washington College on the eastern shore of Maryland on Saturday to face the Shoremen.  Ranked 11th in the region, Washington defeated the Monarchs 6-3.  The Monarchs move to 1-3 overall while Washington moves to 1-1 this season.

Methodist freshman Andrew Freeman (No. 4), and junior Louis Cisti (No. 5) won the only singles matches for the Monarchs.  Sophomore Matthew Siegel and senior Mike Layton combined to win the third doubles match. 

The team will face Goucher College on Sunday at 11 am.
