Methodist Track Team Competes at Clemson
Junior Tazz Petty placed sixth in the 100 meter dash

CLEMSON, SC -  Five members of the Methodist track and field team traveled to the Orange & Purple Meet at Clemson University on Saturday. Competing in the 100 meter, 200 meter and 400 meter, the Monarchs competed against Division I, II and III teams.

Junior Tazz Petty finished sixth in the 100 metes with a time of 10.60 seconds. Freshman Greg Bailey placed 12th in 10.86 seconds and senior Adonis Stanley was 17th in 11.37 seconds.

Bailey also ran the 200 meters and placed 10th in 21.85 seconds. Sophomores Brandon Kidd and Keon Hannibal competed in the 400 meters. Kidd finished 15th in 50.27 seconds while Hannibal placed 21st in 51.84 seconds.

The team is scheduled to compete at the Lynchburg Last Chance Meet May 17.
