Petty Advances to Finals of 100
Three Monarchs compete in the 100 meter dash preliminaries

OSHKOSH, WI -  The NCAA Championship Track & Field meet continued on Friday with three Methodist student-athletes competing in the 100 meter dash preliminaries.

Tazz Petty finished second in his heat in 10.74 seconds to advance to the finals on Saturday. Freshman Greg Bailey placed sixth in his heat in 10.90 seconds and senior Mike Hill finished in 10.93 seconds to place seventh in his heat.

The 100 meter dash finals are scheduled for Saturday at 2:40 pm while the 4x100 meter relay team will race at 1:10 pm.
