Methodist men’s 4x400-meter relay team finishes third at 111th Penn Relays PHILADELPHIA, Penn. – Competing in arguably the biggest showcase in track and field, the Methodist Monarchs finished third in the men’s 4x400-meter relay in the College Division over the weekend at the 111th edition of the Penn Relays at Franklin Field. The team of Mike Hill, Nevin Rayford, Jackson Jean and Adonis Stanley finished in a time of 3:30.43 for the third place finish and a Bronze Medal in the process. St. Paul’s won the event in 3:25.67, while Westfield State finished second in 3:29.87. In addition to the relay team, DeVonne Armstrong finished 14th in the men’ shot put in the College Division. Methodist competes next at the Mason-Dixon Conference outdoor championships on May 7 at Salisbury. |
