Methodist men’s 4x400-meter relay team finishes third at 111^th Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Penn. – Competing in arguably the biggest showcase in track and field, the Methodist Monarchs finished third in the men’s 4x400-meter relay in the College Division over the weekend at the 111^th edition of the Penn Relays at Franklin Field.

The team of Mike Hill, Nevin Rayford, Jackson Jean and Adonis Stanley finished in a time of 3:30.43 for the third place finish and a Bronze Medal in the process. St. Paul’s won the event in 3:25.67, while Westfield State finished second in 3:29.87.

In addition to the relay team, DeVonne Armstrong finished 14^th in the men’ shot put in the College Division.

Methodist competes next at the Mason-Dixon Conference outdoor championships on May 7 at Salisbury.
