Methodist Comes From Behind to Win 3-1 Over Meredith
Sophomore Tiffany Zellhart finishes with 36 assists in four games

RALEIGH, NC - Meredith took game one, but Methodist came back to win the next three to secure the 3-1 victory (29-31, 30-22, 30-27, 30-21). The Monarchs improve to 14-12 overall this season and 7-6 in the USA South while Meredith falls to 5-21 overall and 2-11 in the conference.

Methodist pushed Meredith to 29-31 in the first game, but had to come from behind to win the match. The Avenging Angels made for a tight game three, but the Monarchs put it away for their fourteenth win of the season.

Junior Sara Yeatman led the team with 13 kills and finished with 14 digs. Freshman Angie Paz registered 20 digs on the back line while sophomore setter Tiffany Zellhart added 36 assists on the night.

Methodist will host a USA South tri-match on Saturday with matches scheduled at 12 pm versus Shenandoah and 5 pm against Averett.
