Monarchs Sweep Salem 3-0
Sophomore Taylor Cates registers seven service aces and 10 digs

WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The Monarchs swept Salem 3-0 (30-22, 30-28, 32-30) on Friday night. The Monarchs move to 5-5 on the year.

Junior Sara Yeatman led the team with 11 kills in just two games while sophomore Allison Averitt tallied seven kills. Sophomore Tiffany Zellhart dished out 30 assists while sophomore Taylor Cates racked up seven service aces and 10 digs. Sophomore libero Jordan Grady finished with 17 digs.

The Monarchs will face Shenandoah and Averett on Saturday at Averett.
