Piedmont Wins Rematch With Monarchs 75-66
Senior Antionett Holliday paces the Monarchs with 12 points and 8 rebounds

DEMOREST, GA-  Piedmont was out for revenge Sunday afternoon.  After losing to the Monarchs a week ago, the Lions defeated the Monarchs 75-66 to win their fourth straight game.  The Monarchs fall to 3-4 while Piedmont moves to 5-3 on the season.

Piedmont held Methodist to 37 percent shooting while the Lions shot 47 percent after a 61 percent second half.  At halftime the Monarchs were only down by three, but the Lions went on to score 46 points in the second half for the win. 

Senior Antionett Holliday led the Monarchs with 12 points and 8 rebounds while junior Ashley Harris had 11 points and Lisa Jackson finished with 10 points and 6 rebounds. 

The Monarchs will not play again until after the winter break when they travel to Goucher College January 8th to play at 3 pm.
