Methodist Women Ranked No. 1 by NGCA
National Golf Coaches Association released first poll for Fall 2006

FAYETTEVILLE, NC-  The National Golf Coaches Association has released its first set of rankings for the fall season.  The Methodist College women have been ranked number one receiving 125 points including 5 first place votes. 

The association ranked 24 NCAA Division III teams with the defending national champion Monarchs receiving the majority of the votes.  The team has competed in tournaments so far this fall placing 8th at the Draper Valley Invitational and 6th place at the Unlimited Potential Classic.

The Monarchs will travel to the Lady Pirate Intercollegiate October 20-22 at that Bradford Creek Golf Club in Greenville, NC.
