July 3, 2008 CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) All-American Scholar Teams for Division I, II & III were announced with a total of 402 women’s collegiate golfers recognized. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50 and student-athletes must have competed in at least 50% (Division I) or 66% (Division II & III) of the college’s regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year. Methodist junior Sara Dickson and sophomore Susan Martin have both been recognized by the NGCA for their efforts this past season. Dickson participated in nine events including the NCAA Division III National Championship while averaging 83.8 strokes with a second place finish at the Piedmont Spring Invitational. Martin finished last season with an average score of 77.3 in 21 rounds of golf. In addition to her top finish at the NCAA Championships, Martin placed third at the Richmond Spiders Invitational. |
