Women's Golf Finishes Ninth at Colonial Intercollegiate

WILLIAMSBURG, VA-  The Methodist women's golf team finished ninth in their first tournament of the 2007-08 season with a 642 (322-320). Longwood University led the 11 team field with a 606 on the day.

Methodist sophomore Susan Martin and Alana Swain led the team with a 156 (80-76) to tie for 22nd overall. Senior Katie Dick tied for 36th with a 161 (79-82) and junior Sara Dickson shot a 169 (83-86) to tie for 51st. Junior Junko Suzuki tied for 54th with a 172 (84-88).

Methodist will compete in the Myrtle Beach Classic Sept. 24-25.
