Women Finish 8th at Draper Valley
Heather Martin leads Methodist with 74-76-78

DRAPER VALLEY, VA-  The national champion women's golf team traveled to the Draper Valley Invitational for their first event of the 2006-2007 season.  The team finished eighth with a score of 922.  East Tennessee State won the invitational with 889 for the par 72 course. 

In her first collegiate tournament, freshman Susan Martin shot 76-80-80 finishing 47th.  Senior Heather Martin led Methodist with 74-76-78 in a tie for 23rd.  Emily Ranney played as an individual and shot 75-75-81.  Charlotte Williams finished 75-78-78 and Katie Dick shot 73-81-76.  Holly Knox shot 80-78-81.
