Golf Digest Names Methodist Women No. 1
Golf Guide ranks Methodist top program in Division III for "Golf First"

FAYETTEVILLE, NC-  The September issue of Golf Digest set to hit newsstands August 8th has ranked Methodist College as the top Division III program for women under the category "Golf First."  This is the second year for the magazine to publish its College Golf Guide analyzing the 1,300 golf programs in America for men and women listed as "Golf First" versus "Academic First." 

The "Golf First" category is aimed towards students who are hoping to continue playing golf competitively both as a college student and as a professional.  Each golf program was scored based on a team's adjusted scoring average, player growth while on the team (based on team member's ability to improve their adjusted scoring average and the team's overall development), academics, climate and coaches/facilities.
