Methodist Women's Golf Unanimous No. 1 Pick in First Golf World Coaches’ Poll Of 2007
New poll will be known as the Golf World/NGCA Coaches' Poll

NEW YORK, NY-  Golf World and the National Golf Coaches' Association are combining resources to release the new joint poll this spring.  In the first poll of 2007, the Methodist women were the unanimous pick as the number one team in NCAA Division III.

The women begin their spring season this weekend at the NIU/Spring Lake Women's Intercollegiate.  The Monarchs have won the past nine national championships and look to defend their title this spring behind two-time national individual champion Charlotte Williams.
