 Monarchs continue to dominate the field at the National Championship
Charlotte Williams takes one stroke lead over teammate Emily Ranney; all five Monarch golfers are in the top ten
HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, FL – The Methodist Women's golf team is well on their way to National Championship number nineteen.  The Monarchs find themselves 37 strokes ahead of the field after the first two rounds of the four round national tournament at the Mission Inn Golf Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, FL.

Methodist shot a 307 on Wednesday, one better than Tuesday's 308.  The two day total of 615 leads DePauw by 37 and Gustavus Adolphus by 41.

The real competition appears to be for the individual title.  Charlotte Williams shot a 76 on Wednesday to take a one stroke lead over teammate Emily Ranney.  The rest of the Monarchs are not far off that pace.  Colleen Walsh trails Williams by two, Katie Dick trails by four, and Heather Martin is seven behind.  All five Methodist golfers are in the top ten as individuals.
