Monarchs Take Early Lead at National Championships
Junior Katie Dick is tied for second after the first round

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, FL-  The Methodist women's golf team teed off in round one of the NCAA Championship on Tuesday.  After the first round, the Monarchs are in first place by 29 strokes with a score of 303.  Charlotte Williams led the field with a 74.

Katie Dick and Heather Martin are two strokes off the lead in a four-way tie for second with a 76 while Susan Martin is in sixth place with a 77.  Emily Ranney is tied for ninth with a 79.
