May 15, 2008 FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.- The National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) announced the 2007-08 student-athlete and coaches awards for Division III Women’s Collegiate Golf. Winners were recognized at the NGCA Division III Awards Banquet held in Waterloo, Iowa. The NGCA All-Americans are selected based on head to head competition, comparison with common opponents, scoring average (adjusted), place finishes in regular season events and tournament wins, along with strength of schedule. Senior Katie Dick was named a First Team All-American for the fourth consecutive season. Sophomore Susan Martin also received First Team honors after being selected as a Second Team honoree last season. Additionally, Dick, Martin, and junior Sara Dickson were selected to the East All-Region team. The Monarchs are through two rounds at the NCAA Championships with a 13 stroke lead.
