Monarchs Win Piedmont Spring Invitational

RUTLAND, GA-  The Methodist University women's golf team traveled to The Creek at Hard Labor golf course for the Piedmont Spring Invitational on Monday and Tuesday. The Monarchs finished with the top spot in the seven team field for first place honors with 638 (326-312).

Senior Katie Dick won the tournament with 153 (79-74) while junior Sara Dickson shot 160 (80-80) to place second. Sophomore Susan Martin finished third at 161 (81-80) and freshman Paige Caldwell was fifth with a 165 (87-78). All four golfers were named to the five person All-Tournament team.

The Monarchs will compete in the William & Mary Invitational Mar. 22-23.
