April 17, 2008 FAYETTEVILLE, NC — The USA South Athletic Conference has announced its All-Conference awards for lacrosse. A total of 25 student-athletes have been named to the teams. The Monarchs received two First Team honors with three student athletes named Honorable Mention selections. Senior midfielder Chrystal Bradley has been named to the USA South First Team in her first season of lacrosse. She finished the regular season with 25 goals and nine assists while tying for the team-high in ground balls with 32. Senior midfielder Christina Layson was also a First Team selection after scoring 33 goals and adding two assists this season. Layson and Bradley each tallied 34 draw controls for the team-high. Junior attacker Andrea DiStefano, junior defender Kelsie Britt, and sophomore goalkeeper Lindsey Cosgray are Honorable Mention selections. The USA South has also recognized an All-Sportsmanship Team including a member from each conference school who has demonstrated integrity and honor during the season.
