11-3 Monarchs put seven on All-Conference team
West named player of the year; McGonagle and McGrath also named to the first team

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The USA South Athletic Conference has announced its
All-Conference awards for lacrosse.  Seven Monarchs were recognized with conference honors. 

Methodist College's Lindsey West has been named the Player of the Year.  In addition, Lauren McGonagle, and Bridgette McGrath were all named to the first team.  Second team members include Bridget Holcomb, Katelyn Cushman, and Jenna Nobles.  Kali Rodriguez received honorable mention recognition.  

West, a senior from Davidsonville, Md., was third in the conference in; goals per game, assists per game and points per game. She was instrumental in the Monarchs finishing third in the conference, as they posted a 11-3 overall record and 4-2 record in the USA South. West recorded 59 goals and 29 assists on the year. This marks her third consecutive year receiving First Team All-Conference as she earned First Team honors in 2005 and 2004.
