Monarchs make it three straight with 14-7
victory over Elizabethtown
West paces balanced Methodist scoring attack
with four goals, two assists
WELLINGTON, Fla. –
The Methodist Monarch lacrosse team made it
three straight victories on Monday evening,
defeating Elizabethtown 14-7. The victory puts
Methodist at 3-2 overall on the 2006 season.
Methodist scored seven goals in each half, and
led 7-5 at halftime. In the second half, the
Monarchs outscored Elizabethtown 7-2.
Lindsey West paced a balanced Methodist scoring
attack with four goals and two assists. Katelyn
Cushman also scored four goals, while Lauren
McGonagle scored three goals with four assists.
Bridget Holcomb added two goals and Kali
Rodriguez scored a goal with two assists.
Methodist plays Gordon on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
