Methodist Falls to Misericordia
Freshman Jessica Lutzow scores her first two collegiate goals

HILTON HEAD, SC- The Monarchs held an early 3-2 lead before Misericordia went on a run to take a 8-5 lead at halftime.  The Cougars went on to win 14-9.   Methodist falls to 1-3 overall while Misericordia jumps to 2-0 this season.

Senior midfielder Lauren McGonagle led the scoring for Methodist with five goals and an assist.  Freshman Jessica Lutzow followed up with two goals while sophomore Kelsie Britt and Andrea DiStefano recorded a goal a piece.  DiStefano also added an assist in the loss.

Freshman goalkeeper Lindsey Cosgray recorded 14 saves while the Misericorida goalkeeper Heather Heun made 9 stops for the Cougars.

The Monarchs will play Muhlenberg on Wednesday at 3 pm.
