Muhlenberg Defeats Methodist 13-6
Senior Lauren McGonagle scores two goals and notches three assists

HILTON HEAD, SC- The Mules scored four quick goals in the first fifteen minutes, but the Monarchs moved within one with their third goal in the 20th minute.  Muhlenberg took a 5-3 lead at halftime and went on to take the 13-6 win.  Methodist falls to 1-4 overall while Muhlenberg starts the season 3-0.

Sophomore Andrea DiStefano scored four goals for the Monarchs while senior midfielder Lauren McGonagle had two goals and three assists.  Sophomore Kelsie Britt also notched an assist for Methodist. 

Freshman goalkeeper Lindsey Cosgray recorded 12 saves while the Muhlenberg goalkeepers Rachel Danziger and Caroline Shadood combined to make two stops.

The Monarchs will travel to Ferrum on Saturday to face the Panthers at 1 pm.
