Lady
Monarchs
place
four on
All-USA
South
for
women’s
soccer
FAYETTEVILLE,
N.C. –
The USA
South
Athletic
Conference
released
its 2005
All-Conference
team for
women’s
soccer
on
Wednesday,
and the
Methodist
Lady
Monarchs
placed
four
representatives
on the
squad.
Forward
Chrystal
Bradley
and
defender
Stacey
Noonan
were
both
first
team
All-USA
South
selections,
while
midfielder
Danielle
Nourie
and
defender
Marie
Finley
were
each
second
team
All-USA
South
selections.
This is
not the
first
time any
of these
four
have
made
All-Conference.
It’s the
second
straight
first
team
selection
for
Bradley
and the
second
straight
second
team
selections
for
Nourie
and
Finley.
Noonan
was a
second
team
selection
in 2003.
Bradley,
a
sophomore
from
Fairfax,
Va., was
one of
the top
scorers
this
season
in the
USA
South
for a
second
straight
year.
She’s
scored
15 goals
with two
assists
for 32
points
heading
into
Friday’s
USA
South
semifinal
game
against
Greensboro
at
Christopher
Newport.
Bradley
is
ranked
second
in the
USA
South in
both
goals
scored
and
points
scored.
Noonan
helped
anchor
the
defensive
backline
for the
Lady
Monarchs.
The
senior
from
Manassas,
Va.,
started
all 18
games
this
season
for
Methodist.
Nourie,
a junior
from
Hockessin,
Del.,
directed
the
Methodist
attack
from her
center
midfield
position.
She
recorded
one
assist
on the
season.
Finley,
a junior
from
Yorktown,
Va.,
rotated
between
defender
and
midfield
for the
season.
She has
three
goals
and one
assist
for
seven
points.
