Lady Monarchs place four on All-USA South for women’s soccer

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. –
The USA South Athletic Conference released its 2005 All-Conference team for women’s soccer on Wednesday, and the Methodist Lady Monarchs placed four representatives on the squad. Forward Chrystal Bradley and defender Stacey Noonan were both first team All-USA South selections, while midfielder Danielle Nourie and defender Marie Finley were each second team All-USA South selections.

This is not the first time any of these four have made All-Conference. It’s the second straight first team selection for Bradley and the second straight second team selections for Nourie and Finley. Noonan was a second team selection in 2003.

Bradley, a sophomore from Fairfax, Va., was one of the top scorers this season in the USA South for a second straight year. She’s scored 15 goals with two assists for 32 points heading into Friday’s USA South semifinal game against Greensboro at Christopher Newport. Bradley is ranked second in the USA South in both goals scored and points scored.

Noonan helped anchor the defensive backline for the Lady Monarchs. The senior from Manassas, Va., started all 18 games this season for Methodist.

Nourie, a junior from Hockessin, Del., directed the Methodist attack from her center midfield position. She recorded one assist on the season. Finley, a junior from Yorktown, Va., rotated between defender and midfield for the season. She has three goals and one assist for seven points.
