USA South Names All-Conference Women's Soccer Teams
Four players receive First Team honors

FAYETTEVILLE, NC - The USA South Athletic Conference has announced its All-Conference awards for women's soccer. A total of 40 student-athletes have been named to the USA South All-Conference teams. Methodist placed four women on the First Team.

Sophomore Whitney Roberson led the team in scoring this season with 16 goals and four assists for 36 points. Roberson tallied six game-winning goals on her way to back-to-back First Team honors. Senior Chrystal Bradley scored 11 goals with eight assists this season for 30 points. Bradley is a four-time First Team selection scoring the first goal of the game against Peace for the game-winner..

Freshman Kelly Orpin was also selected to the First Team as a Methodist defender. Orpin has been a mainstay in the back line helping to limit USA South opponents to just one goal scored in nine games. Behind Orpin was First Team goalkeeper, freshman Kasey Nichols. Nichols was scored on just once in 495 minutes of conference play for a 0.18 goals against average.

Adding to the All-Conference honors was sophomore defender Erica Nath. Nath transitioned to defense this season and finished with two goals and an assist from the back line.

For the first time, the USA South recognized an All-Sportsmanship Team including a member from each conference school who have demonstrated integrity and honor during the season. Senior Brenda Chambers was chosen to represent Methodist.
