Monarchs Defeat Bridgewater 3-0
Chrystal Bradley scores two goals

BRIDGEWATER, VA-  The women's soccer team won their fifth game in a row at Bridgewater on Saturday 3-0.  The Monarchs dominated with 24 shots to the Eagles 5.  Methodist moves to 7-2 and Bridgewater falls to 1-10.

In only the third minute of the game junior Chrystal Bradley scored the first goal.  Less than fifteen minutes later freshman Michelle Anderson struck a ball after an assist from freshman Whitney Roberson.  With the score 2-0 at halftime, the two teams led a quiet second half until Chrystal Bradley finished things off with her second goal of the game with less than a minute remaining in the game.

Goalkeeper Erin Swanson had five saves on the day.

The Monarchs will travel to Chowan to face the Hawks at 4 pm on Tuesday.
