Junior Teresa Futrell Named to D3Kicks National Team of the Week
Futrell led defense in 3-1 win over conference foe Christopher Newport

FAYETTEVILLE, NC-  D3kicks.com aims to be the quintessential resource for Division III soccer in the country.  They collect results from around the country to post a leaderboard, news releases, and top 25 poll.  Each week, D3kicks.com selects a team of the week. These teams are selected based on nominations from coaches and sports information directors.

Teresa Futrell has been named to the D3kicks.com National Team of the Week announced on Tuesday.  A junior from Virginia Beach, VA, Futrell has anchored the Monarch defense to a 9-3 record this season.  On Saturday, Methodist broke Christopher Newport's 21-conference game winning streak with 3-1 victory.  The women's soccer team will host Bluefield College Saturday at 3 pm.
