November 27, 2006 Junior Chrystal Bradley from Fairfax, VA has been named to the first team All-South and second team All-American for her play this season. Bradley scored 37 goals and notched 14 assists for 88 points on the season, the best in the entire country. Bradley broke the Methodist record for scoring and was named the USA South Conference Player of the Year earlier this month. Whitney Roberson, a freshman from Kitty Hawk, NC was selected to the second team All-South. The 2006 USA South Rookie of the Year, Roberson scored 25 goals and had 16 assists in her freshman campaign. Her 16 assists broke the Methodist season record and ranked her third in Division III for assists per game. Defender Teresa Futrell received third team All-South honors. A junior from Virginia Beach, VA, Futrell anchored the center of the Monarch defense that only allowed 22 goals in 21 games. Futrell also scored two goals and tallied 3 assists on the way to becoming a first team USA South selection this season.
