Monarchs Trounce Hollins
Bradley and Roberson each score 3 a piece

FAYETTEVILLE, NC-  Tony Tommasi did not waste any time earning his first win as head coach of the Monarch women's soccer team.  Methodist beat Hollins University handedly 13-0 to win their first game of the season.  The Monarchs were led by junior Chrystal Bradley and freshman Whitney Roberson with three goals a piece. 

Roberson had no problems scoring, racking up her first collegiate hat trick in the first fourteen minutes of the match.  Bradley scored her three goals within twelve minutes of the second half and added an assist to her point total as freshman Ashley Kolano scored her first goal in the 73rd minute.  All of the newcomers were able to earn valuable minutes on the field. 

The Monarchs will face Cabrini College Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m..  Cabrini beat Meredith College today 3-1.  Meredith will face Hollins at 3 p.m. on Sunday to complete the Methodist/Innkeeper Invitational.
