Methodist Shuts Out Piedmont 2-0
Goals scored by Chrystal Bradley and Michelle Anderson

DEMOREST, GA-  After a scoreless first half, the Monarchs surged ahead on goals scored by junior Chrystal Bradley and freshman Michelle Anderson to notch a 2-0 win.  The Monarchs move to 6-2 while Piedmont falls to 3-5-1.

The first half passed without any goals, but the Monarchs retained a 5-2 shot advantage over the Piedmont Lions.  A minute into the second half, Bradley scored an unassisted goal.  Fifteen minutes later, Anderson sealed the deal for the win.  Goalkeeper Amanda Evans finished the game with 4 saves.

The Monarchs will travel to Bridgewater to play at 11 am on Saturday.
