NSCAA Ranks Women's Soccer 8th in the Region
Monarchs opened the season 1-1

FAYETTEVILLE, NC- The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) released the first NSCAA/adidas rankings of the season today. The Methodist women's soccer team has been ranked eighth in the South region after the first week of the season.

The Monarchs kicked off the 2008 season against Spelman College last Friday and came from behind for a 3-1 win. They followed up with a 2-0 loss to Emory University, ranked 12th in the nation. The team will travel to the Roanoke College Tournament this weekend to face Roanoke and Eastern Mennonite.
