Women's Soccer Ranked Seventh in the South Region
Adidas and NSCAA release first regional rankings of the season

FAYETTEVILLE, NC-  The Methodist University women's soccer team has been ranked 7th in the South Region for Division III by NSCAA/adidas. The Monarchs break into the rankings in just the first week of the season.

The Monarchs kicked off the 2007 season with a 5-0 win over Hood this past Saturday. Head coach Tony Tommasi led the team to its first NCAA tournament berth in 11 years last season and looks for continued success this year. The team will host Washington (Md.) on Saturday at 12 pm and Sweet Briar on Sunday at 2 pm.
