Methodist Tennis Teams Ranked Regionally
Freshman Kaitlin Flaherty ranked 16th in the Atlantic South

FAYETTEVILLE, NC-  The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) recently released the FILA rankings for Division III with both the Methodist men's and women's tennis teams receiving regional rankings in the Atlantic South. The men are 12th in the region while the women have been ranked 10th.

Freshman Kaitlin Flaherty was also ranked 16th in the Atlantic South singles rankings after a strong performance this fall. Flaherty placed second at the Meredith Invitational, advanced to the top eight at ITA Regionals and the final four at the Methodist Invitational.

Senior Chris Fletcher has been ranked 4th in the Atlantic South region and 14th nationally in Division III. At the ITA Regional Tournament this fall, Fletcher advanced to the singles championship match. Chris Fletcher and his brother Andrew Fletcher teamed up in doubles to advance to the quarterfinals at ITA Regionals. The duo was ranked 10th in the region for their efforts.
