Description: 

In conjunction with the Marc Chagall Exhibit at the David McCune International Art Gallery, we present a silent Gothic horror film considered to be the quintessential representation of German Expressionism. This film has a uniquely dark and twisted visual style. A story of insanity and murder, Dr. Caligari uses a sleepwalking trance on Cesare to kill at the doctor’s command. Francis tells this horrific story, revealing the trauma suffered by himself and his fiancée, Jane. We hear there’s a surprising and twisted ending.
