MU Announces $1 Million Scholarship Challenge from Board of Trustees

Methodist University announced a $1 million scholarship endowment challenge today at its Fall Opening Convocation. President Ben Hancock Jr. also said the University is on track to have another record year, its 60th, with positive figures rolling in for enrollment, fund raising, residential students, international students, and student involvement. Building Excellence: The Campaign for Methodist University, has reached $34.5 million with nine months to go, he said.

Methodist University Announces Spring 2015 Graduates

Methodist University announces the graduation of 205 students in the 52nd annual Spring Commencement, which took place on May 9, 2015. The commencement speaker was Judy Woodruff, co-anchor and managing editor at PBS NewsHour. During the commencement, the University also recognized Eleanor B. Manning, a longtime Fayetteville resident, community leader and volunteer, with the University Medallion.

Methodist University Announces Spring 2015 Dean's List

Two hundred and ninety-two students were named to the Spring 2015 Dean’s List at Methodist University. To merit inclusion on the Dean’s List, a student must achieve a 3.50 or better GPA with at least 42.0 quality points during the semester on a total course load of 12 or more semester hours, with no grade of D, F, or I (Incomplete) and no developmental courses.

To merit inclusion on the President’s List, a student must achieve a 3.90 GPA with at least 46.8 quality points during the semester on a total course load of 12 or more semester hours, with no grade of D, F, or I (Incomplete) and no developmental courses.
