MU Announces New Director of the MBA Program

Donna K. Pelham, J.D., CFE, CPA, was recently named the Master of Business Administration program director in the Reeves School of Business. She also serves as an associate professor of Accounting and Business Administration.

Pelham takes over for Dr. Pam Strickland, who was recently named the first Associate Dean of the Reeves School of Business.

Pelham is a Fayetteville native and has worked at Methodist University since 2008. She is a Florida-licensed attorney, a globally-licensed Certified Fraud Examiner, and a North Carolina Certified Public Accountant.

She received a B.A. and J.D. at Texas Lutheran College, and a CPA degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law. She is the senior articles editor for the Journal of Legal Studies in Business and an articles reviewer for the Journal of Legal Studies in Education.

In 2011, Pelham published a business law novel, “Twisted Links,” and is currently working on its sequel. She is active in the community through her work with Fayetteville's city government, most recently having served on the assessment team that helped select the city's first female police chief.
