Playing Division III lets me concentrate on my academics and play football at the same time. For me, on the field and in class, it’s about being accountable. My coaches support that. I go to class every day. I work hard in the weight room and at practice. Coaches at Methodist really stress the academic side. If we’re not going to class, we don’t play. Our goal is for the whole team to get better grades. Working for each other on the field and in class builds a real camaraderie. We’re a very close team. I really appreciate the attitude of the coaches here.

I love football, but there is more to me and what I want for my life. I just made the Dean’s List. It’s important to me to graduate with good grades. I want to get a job I enjoy in computer science and to live a good life after football.
