As of March 2017, The Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program is included in the scope of Methodist University's current accreditation.
As a part of the accreditation process, Methodist’s Doctor of Occupational Therapy program will meet the requirements for professional licensure in North Carolina and in all states whose educational institutions already meet ACOTE accreditation standards. Methodist University is considered to be a Developing Program by the Accreditation Council of Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).
