Technology Requirements

Students should be proficient with the use of e-mail and Internet services as well as basic software programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Students will need to access instructional Web sites and be able to download course materials as well as communicate via online discussion boards.

All students are required to have computer, Internet, and e-mail access, without exception. Some Web site instruction may be employed in the classroom. Thus, it is highly recommended that laptops be used in the classroom. The program has a dedicated PA classroom with wireless Internet and satellite capabilities.
