Graduate School

Graduate School

While some students will seek employment upon graduation, other students will apply to a graduate program related to the study of International Relations or Public Administration. Graduate study at the Master and Doctorate level further enhances the career opportunities associated with a degree in Political Science. To ensure Political Science majors are prepared for graduate studies, majors complete a rigorous course of study focusing on the fields of American Government, Comparative Politics, International Relations, and Public Administration. Additionally, Political Science faculty mentor students planning to attend graduate school by offering guidance on preparation for the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) and application to graduate school. Application information is available on the American Political Science Association website.
